Our Recycled Plastic Composters
The Classic Rotol and The Garden King are both rotationally moulded, by us, here in Devon. The CompoSphere is also rotationally moulded, but due to its complexity we have contracted out the manufacture of this particular composter to a specialist moulding company based in Yorkshire. Our Compost Tumblers
Tumbling garden composters are known to accellerate the rate of decomposition in a composter - meaning you can compost more waste in a shorter space of time. Instead of 'forking' or mixing the waste with an aeration tool (or indeed just leaving it to rot down) you mix through the action of tumbling the waste inside the compost tumbler. The more you tumble your compost tumbler - the quicker you can harvest your top quality compost!

This attractive beehive design Composter features a sloped top which is hinged to allow easy access, and a lower door which allows composted waste to be taken out in exactly the amounts required for potting or distributing on your garden. The wood has been specially treated to be weatherproof and comes from recycled forestry. Our premium wooden composters are hand made in the Ribble Valley from wood derived from fully FSC accredited sustainable sources and are of truly exceptional build quality using very solid, slow grown, timber. Read more about the FSC sceheme here.
Unlike tanalised (CCA) timber, only non-toxic wood preservative is used which is kind to insects and wildlife and therefore will not harm the worms and bugs you might find in the compost.
These wooden compost bins contain no nails or screws and there are no holes to dig, meaning they can be fully assembled in a matter of minutes. With a generous capacity and standing at almost 30 inches high, these wooden bins have been specifically designed to ease back strain when loading materials into them.
Because of the unique design, these bins can be easily expanded with additional modules to add even more capacity and value. Use a twin or double bin and wait for one side to mature, whilst filling the other!
