New to Original Organics! FSC-Approved Wooden Raised Beds - great for Growing!

New to Original Organics - The Home Composting Specialists. These wooden raised beds are handmade in the Ribble Valley and are of exceptional quality.

All the wood used for the raised beds is specifically slow grown for strength and durability and is strictly sourced only from FSC sustainable forests (more on FSC Wood here). Only non-toxic wood preservative is used, which is kind to insects and wildlife and therefore not harm worms or bugs in the beds, unlike tanalised (CCA) timber.

The beds contain no nails or screws and there are no holes to dig, meaning they can be fully assembled in a matter of minutes.

Raised Beds are available as "Deep" or "Standard".

Grow Bed	Mini Grow Bed

Our original grow bed offers just under one square metre of growing area. With a depth of 25cm, the internal capacity is 230 Litres. This unit is ideal for growing crops such as carrots, potatoes, and onions as well as brassicas such as cabbage and broccoli and squashes such as courgette (zucchini) and pumpkin. Please note that this Grow Bed does not feature a base / liner. It is possible to build a deeper Grow Bed by stacking one unit on top of another. It is also possible to extend an existing Grow Bed using an Extension Kit. Please note that it is not possible to widen a Grow Bed beyond the standard width of one metre. This 12.7mm diameter aluminium frame anchors firmly into the Grow Bed to provide a rigid support for netting or polythene sheet. Thanks to Garland's unique tube connectors, no tools are required and assembly takes minutes. Dimensions - 96 x 96 x 100 cm	Featuring 28mm thick timber panels, sourced from sustainable Scandinavian forests. Each panel is planed with rounded edges to give a highly attractive finished look. Pre-drilled pilot holes allow easy assembly. The timber has been pressure treated with a non harmful chemical preservative and is guaranteed for 10 years. Each unit features internal corner connectors which feature deep slots to anchor optional Steel Support Hoops. Assembly is simple taking less than 30 minutes, requiring a screwdriver only. It is possible to stack units to increase the bed height - the design of the internal corner connectors ensuring that each vertical section locks firmly together. The cover is perfectly tailored to fit over an existing Timber Grow Bed with Pair of Steel Support Hoops. The micro mesh prevents access to all common garden pests large and small, including even the smallest insects. Crucially the material will allow water to pass through, ensuring that the bed can be watered with the cover in situ if preferred. The cover itself attaches to the Timber Grow Bed using the 2 screw hooks that are included with the product preventing the cover from becoming dislodged in windy conditions.
