Professor Larry Crowder, marine scientist Scientists in Texas examined 473 turtles stranded along the Texas coast between 1983 and 1995. They found ingested plastics in more than half of the turtles sampled.

Turtles are mistaking upturned plastic bags for their favourite food, jellyfish, with deadly results! Hence the creation of "Turtle Bags".
