The Blackdown Range Wooden Composters
Our small factory, warehouse and offices are situated in Uffculme, a small Devon village on the Western outskirts of the Blackdown Hills. The Blackdown Hills are a hidden gem, described by Daniel Defoe as >".....the most beautiful landscape in the world - a mere picture and I do not remember the like in any one place in England."
A tranquil, beautiful, and relatively isolated landscape on the Devon and Somerset border. Steep ridges, high plateau, valleys and springs create a charming mosaic of countryside dotted with farms, villages and ancient features. This special place is home to wildlife and people, with valuable habitats existing alongside living, working communities. Unique geology creates an exceptional environment where rare plant, insect and invertebrate species can flourish. Now preserved for the nation, the Blackdown Hills have been protected as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) since 1991.
So it is from our beautiful local surroundings and landscape that we chose the name for our premium range of hand made quality wooden composters and raised beds.

Dimensions :- All units approx 60cm x 60cm (1'11.5" Width and Depth)4-Tier Unit - approx 91cm High (3') 5-Tier Unit - approx 109cm High (3'7") 6-Tier Unit - approx 128cm High (4'2.5") NB. This item will be delivered as multiple parcels by our courier due to its' size. In some occasional circumstances you may receive one half before the next. If this is the case - do not worry! |
