Our Wooden Composters
Our wooden composters are hand made in the Ribble Valley from wood derived from fully FSC accredited sustainable sources and are of truly exceptional build quality using very solid, slow grown, timber. Read more about the FSC sceheme here.
Unlike tanalised (CCA) timber, only non-toxic wood preservative is used which is kind to insects and wildlife and therefore will not harm the worms and bugs you might find in the compost.
These wooden compost bins contain no nails or screws and there are no holes to dig, meaning they can be fully assembled in a matter of minutes. With a generous capacity and standing at almost 30 inches high, these wooden bins have been specifically designed to ease back strain when loading materials into them.
Because of the unique design, these bins can be easily expanded with additional modules to add even more capacity and value. Use a twin or double bin and wait for one side to mature, whilst filling the other!
