This pump offer a wide pressure range for industrial boosting purposes, while their low operating noise, low power consumption also make them popular for a variety of domestic and horticultural applications.
The CA(M) series are single stage, self-priming “jet” pumps with 304 stainless steel bodies and impellers (CA(M)80: thermoplastic). Motor supports are in aluminium, with venturis in thermoplastic. They have stainless steel shafts, fitted with carbon ceramic and NBR mechanical seals and have IP44 motors. Single phase motors incorporate an overload protection device.
They are designed for pumping clean water only at a maximum temperature of 35ºC. They should not be allowed to run dry, but by fitting an optional pressure controller, they can be protected from this and also start and stop them automatically. (The CA(M)80 and CA(M)88, when fitted with a Logicpress, are available with an optional steel protection frame for portable use). Maximum recommended suction lift, when primed, is 8 metres.
