Garden Sheds & Outdoor Storage
A garden shed is a great place to store your tools, equipment and accessories when they’re not being used. This saves them from exposure to harsh weather conditions, and keeps them out of the way of children and pets, who may hurt themselves if left unsupervised around these items.
Our range of garden sheds come in a variety of designs and sizes, so you’re sure to find one that perfectly organises your tools and looks great in your garden. From our water-resistant Keter Storage Shed, which is both durable and easy to assemble, to our small-yet-spacious Wallstore, where you can also store your bikes, there’s something for everyone. Shop the Original Organics range to find the best garden shed for you.
How to insulate a garden shed
If you’re planning to use your garden shed as a space to hang out as well as somewhere to put your tools, then you’ll need to keep it warm enough to spend time in. Insulating your garden shed will improve heat retention so it costs less to warm up.
As most domestic sheds have stripped back walls with exposed joists, it’s easy to insulate the space yourself. Bubble wrap is the most cost-effective material for this purpose, but it’s not the most eco-friendly option, whereas sheep’s wool is a great insulator as it’s fire-retardant, able to generate heat and can prevent condensation.
Another material to consider is fibreglass wool, which can be fitted and tacked in between garden shed panels, then secured using MDF (medium-density fibreboard). This method can also be used for foil-backed insulation boards and polystyrene. In addition, you could insulate the floors using breathable membrane or rugs, and the windows and doors with a hardening foam filler or liquid wool.
