How to care for your lawn

During the spring and summer your lawn is actively growing, and requires near-constant maintenance to stay healthy. Keeping it fed with products like our nature safe lawn feed will enrich the soil, helped by its 100% plant-based, organic ingredients.

Moss can be an issue in damp, poorly drained lawns, so we recommended using a moss killer in spring and autumn and then removing it with a rake. Weeds can also be a problem, preventing your lawn from growing by blocking the air and nutrients from being able to get to the roots. Most weeds can be pulled out by hand, but those which can’t can be easily sprayed using an organic herbicide.

You should also make sure to regularly mow your lawn during the warmer months so that it stays tidy and retains its greenery and freshness. It’s best to cut it by around a third to replenish the grass.
